SupportDock (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
By using SupportDock, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
2. Data We Collect
Account data
- Email address
- Username (chosen by you)
- Name and profile image (when signing in with Google, GitHub, or Apple)
- Password (hashed — we never store plain-text passwords)
App data you create
- App names, slugs, descriptions
- Support email addresses
- Website URLs
- Privacy policy content or URLs
- FAQ questions and answers
- App icon images (stored as provided)
- Platform selections and store links
Billing data
Payment processing is handled by Paddle. We do not store your credit card or payment details. We receive subscription status, customer ID, and billing period information from Paddle via webhooks.
Usage data
We may collect basic usage analytics such as page views on public support pages, browser type, and referring URLs. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual users.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate the SupportDock service.
- To authenticate you and manage your account.
- To publish your app support pages at the URLs you configure.
- To process your subscription and communicate billing information.
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset).
- To improve the platform based on aggregated usage patterns.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Public Pages
Content you publish on SupportDock — including your app name, description, FAQ entries, support email, and privacy policy — is publicly accessible at your support page URL. Do not include sensitive personal data in these fields.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate SupportDock:
- Paddle — payment processing and subscription management (Paddle Privacy Policy)
- Neon / PostgreSQL — managed database hosting for your account and app data.
- Vercel — cloud hosting and deployment infrastructure.
- Google / GitHub / Apple — optional OAuth sign-in providers. Only your name, email, and profile image are shared with us during sign-in.
6. Cookies and Sessions
SupportDock uses HTTP-only session cookies for authentication. These cookies are strictly necessary and contain only your session token — no personal data is stored directly in the cookie.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account and app data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data and unpublish your support pages. Some anonymised or aggregated data may be retained for analytics.
Billing records may be retained for a longer period as required by financial regulations.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities.

9. Children's Privacy
SupportDock is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted database connections, hashed passwords, HTTP-only session cookies, and secure HTTPS transport. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
